Chinese Traditions

Despite having been born and brought up in mainland China, I have grown more and more discontent with my own knowledge in Chinese traditions during my staying overseas in the recent decade. While many Chinese around the world have always been very proud of our own history and culture, the post-Cultural Revolution generation in mainland China, however, is no longer familiar with, not to mention practising, many of the traditions.

Below are just some of the bits and pieces of the “lost gems” that I collected. I hope they can serve as reminders of our proud culture to the younger generations like Flying’s.
