Detective Conan

Since the university days, Flying started catching up the weekly Japanese anime serial of Detective Conan (a.k.a. Case Closed) by Gōshō Aoyama (青山剛昌). It was initially just a pastime on top of some fun listening practice after my Japanese language lectures. It soon grew into some form of emotional attachment, which was especially strong with the sensational moments of affection between the main characters.

Over the years, it’s become just another habbit of mine checking out new Conan episodes from time to time, and “consume” them with my joyful yanzi. The stories are no longer as good as they used to be after fourteen years of continuous running TV episodes, fourteen annual anime movie productions, and countless OVA episodes. However, the emotional attachment with the anime (as my first fun way to hone my Japanese skills) simply goes on. >_<
